This place is the best Italian food in south county. The tortellini is always the star of the show for me. The sauce is fantastic if you have a preference for cream sauces like I do. If not, the penne is simple and the marinara is probably the best I've had from anywhere not named L&B Spumoni Gardens in Brooklyn. My favorite salad is the chopped salad. It's simple but always hits the spot. The wait time is always a guess, especially on the weekends but it's worth it. Staff is always nice even when they're slammed.

Guichos Eatery’s north location is conveniently located near Sprouts, right off the freeway, in San Clemente. Parking is never a worry, as the lot is quite big. The girls who work behind the counter are always pleasant and welcoming! My wife and I like that the establishment offers both indoor and outdoor seating options. Guichos spin on sit-down-style food, prepared fresh and fast, is genius. My wife loves the tortellini while I enjoy the meatball sub. We’re always impressed with the taste of the dishes we order.

This restaurant was a lovely, unexpected find on our road trip south to San Diego. My friend's Lasagna weighed almost 6 lbs! I had the Sausage Hoagie and the house-made sausage was the length of the bun, with garden fresh grilled peppers, and a yummy giardiniera topping that added extra flavor. The Caesar salad was unbelievable with a homemade dressing, loads of chipped parmesan, and big crunchy croutons. Staff was youthful and really friendly, and food was enough for two meals! Call your order in about 20 minutes ahead if you are short on time..Take out and dine in available. Enjoy!
